Interested in Sponsoring the Expo?
The 2023 NW Youth Careers Expo allows thousands of high school students and teachers to engage with 150+ employers and postsecondary partners for community-based career exploration. Sponsors make this experience possible and ensure access for students across Oregon, including underrepresented and rural communities. They also support PWA's year-round work with students and partners.
Grow your pipeline. Many employers will face a high number of employee retirements in the coming years, representing a loss of skills and experience. The Expo is a chance to connect with your future workforce about current hiring needs and future hiring goals
Educate the next generation. Many young people are unaware of the great careers in your field. High school students need to see the relevance of their education, learn about promising career paths, and better understand the skills they need to be successful in the workplace.
Build your brand. The 2021 and 2022 Expo featured a virtual Exhibit Hall where students and educators had the opportunity to “visit” sponsors’ booths to learn about their work. Exhibitors shared materials and videos about their workplace, and they hosted chats to answer questions. At an in-person Expo, more than 5,000 students from 70+ high schools in Oregon and Southwest Washington will attend the Expo, as well as 150+ exhibitors - including many of your potential business partners, clients and competitors. As an Expo sponsor, you create tremendous community goodwill and increase visibility.
Help high schools year-round. Sponsoring the Expo pays dividends for students throughout the school year. A portion of your Expo sponsorship goes toward providing in-depth career-learning opportunities for students, helping them make informed decisions about their next steps after graduation.
