About

The PWA Expo Breakfast is typically held on the morning of the annual NW Youth Careers Expo.

  • Celebrate the work of our partners.
  • Connect with like-minded leaders who believe in developing young people’s career aspirations.
  • Meet students inspired by their career-education experiences.
  • Learn how to get involved.

The annual PWA Breakfast attracts about 450 attendees, including community leaders from public and private sectors. 2020 Breakfast Sponsors included Cozy and OnPoint Community Credit Union, as well as Durham & Bates, Portland HR Management Association, Barran Liebman, Cinder Staffing and Todd Construction.

In 2020, we were delighted to have founder and chief creative officer of Red & Co., Mira Kaddoura and president of Colas Construction, Andrew Colas among our featured speakers, as well as Mercedes Muñoz, a Franklin High School special education teacher and this year's Oregon Teacher of the Year,  joining the breakfast as a special guest panelist. The 2020 PWA Breakfast was canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
