The 14th annual PWA Expo Breakfast was a get-up-early-and-get-charged-up event that drew a crowd of about 500 attendees to the Oregon Convention Center on Tuesday, March 13.

From modest beginnings in 2005, the NW Youth Careers Expo has grown into a signature event that attracts more than 7,000 high school students and 190-plus exhibitors, including top employers from throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Many employers at this year’s NW Youth Careers Expo are seeking high school students for a variety of summer jobs, internships and volunteer opportunities in fields ranging from construction to software technology.
In the Expo Construction Zone, students can talk with people who work at some of Portland’s leading construction and development companies, and planning and design firms.
