Every year, the nonprofit Portland Workforce Alliance teams up with the Portland Human Resource Management Association to organize mock interviews for students at the NW Youth Careers Expo. This is a great opportunity for HR professionals (and other caring adults with interviewing experience)

Record 1,200+ volunteers serve Portland high school students through PWA
Some PWA volunteers are company leaders; others are just starting out. Either way, they share a common desire to help Portland teenagers gain access to good careers. (We often hear them saying, “I wish someone had helped ME figure this stuff out when I was in high school!”)
