NW Youth Careers Expo: 100+ volunteers needed for mock interviews

Caring business volunteers will help provide mock job interviews to hundreds of high school students at the 22nd annual NW Youth Careers Expo on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the Oregon Convention Center. Please join us!

More than 100 volunteers are needed to meet the demand of this one-day event. CLICK HERE to learn more and sign up today.

Training and materials are provided. The event runs from 9 am to 1:30 pm. You or your colleagues can sign up for a few hours or the whole day. You can bring your laptop for slower periods. Shifts include mock interviewing, Expo navigation, line check-in, and more.

The mock interviews are among the most popular parts of the annual NW Youth Careers Expo, organized by the nonprofit Portland Workforce Alliance. The Expo attracts more than 6,000 high school students and features 230+ exhibitor booths, representing the region’s leading employers.

Additional ways to get involved: Your company can get involved as an Expo exhibitor or sponsor, or you can attend the PWA Expo Breakfast on Expo morning. Click here to learn more about the breakfast. One of the special career speakers for this year’s breakfast is Jenny Nguyen, founder and CEO of The Sports Bra!
