Hannah Lewis, an assistant vice president and branch manager for OnPoint Community Credit Union, was elected to the PWA Board of Directors in June 2025.
Lewis is a passionate advocate for the transformative power that financial education can play in people’s lives. Before joining the board, she was an active PWA committee member and helped PWA launch our first banking/finance career day at OnPoint Community Credit Union. She also volunteers for FinAbility and her neighborhood association.
Below are some insights from Lewis:
Best career advice: “Cultivate a change mindset. View change as opportunities for growth and innovation.”
Most memorable job as a teenager: “I worked at a coffee shop as a barista. We roasted our own beans and prided ourselves on pouring the perfect shot. It was a cool education on the art and culture of coffee.”
Something I learned in high school about work: “Everyone starts somewhere and starting at the bottom is admirable. As you progress, having a core understanding of entry level positions is admirable and makes you a very well rounded employee.”
What draws me to serve PWA: “The commitment to empower youth, think outside the box, and explore new opportunities.”
