Join the Portland Workforce Alliance for a morning at the Nike World Headquarters, hosted by the Nike Women of STEM network. After a tour around campus, we will gather for a hands-on footwear prototyping session and career chat. You will meet Nike engineers, scientists, and innovators and learn how they invent new products that make athletes better and make the world better for athletes.

How to attend:

Step 1: Fill out the student interest form ASAP. (Type your email address and cell number carefully so we can reach you!)

Step 2: Have your parent/guardian fill out the parent/guardian permission form ASAP.

Step 3: PWA will contact you to let you know if you're accepted or waitlisted, or if the career day is full.

Step 4: Show up and have an amazing time!

Who can attend:

High school students in the Portland metro area are encouraged and welcome to apply. Priority given to students from PWA partner districts (Parkrose, Reynolds, Gresham-Barlow, North Clackamas, Oregon Charter Academy, Portland Public Schools). Students from other districts are always welcome whenever space is available.

Details: Check in by 8:45 AM. Program starts promptly at 9:00 AM. 

Transportation: Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from the experience

Special instructions for students: 

• COVID vaccine proof required: The employer requires all visitors to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination. All students must upload proof of vaccination when they register. Any accompanying educators must be prepared to show proof of vaccination. 
• Comfortable walking shoes recommended: This Career Day includes a walking tour of Nike’s global headquarters Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather (rainjacket as needed).
