The NW Youth Careers Expo features a diverse and eclectic array of exhibitors that inform and inspire us, including Nike, Columbia Sportswear, Portland Community College and many more.

Job opportunities will be plentiful in Oregon’s manufacturing sector, as the workforce ages and the industry grows. The NW Youth Careers Expo is a great place to learn about the skills and education leading to higher-paying career paths within manufacturing fields such as metals, machinery, green technology and transportation.

The Construction Zone at the NW Youth Careers Expo is always a big, loud and energetic place where students can learn about careers and apprenticeships while also trying out everything from 3D printers and virtual welding to hula hoops. (Yes, hula hoops. It’s a thing.)

This week, we’re highlighting the exhibitors in this year’s Expo’s Health Care Zone, which will have a great mix of serious career learning and hands-on fun.
