Holst Architecture Career Day
Do you dream of a career designing buildings? Spend the morning with Holst Architecture! Connect with architects and other industry professionals. Get a behind-the-scenes look at one of Portland’s leading firms. Participate in a design exercise in a team with students from other schools. Learn about the education and skills needed for an architecture career. Visit the active jobsite of a building that Holst designed! Lunch included. IN PERSON at Holst.
How to attend:
Step 1: Fill out the student interest form ASAP. (Type your email address and cell number carefully so we can reach you!)
Step 2: Have your parent/guardian fill out the parent/guardian permission form ASAP. (Your application can’t be considered until this is done.) Students who do this early have much better luck at being accepted.
Step 3: PWA will contact you to let you know if you’re accepted or waitlisted, or if the career day is full.
Step 4: Show up and have an amazing time!
Who can attend:
High school students in the Portland metro area are encouraged and welcome to apply. We prioritize students from our partner school districts when space is limited (Gresham-Barlow, North Clackamas, Parkrose Portland Public Schools, Reynolds, Oregon Charter Academy).
