Business/Electrical Career Day at Christenson Electric

Explore the business of construction, from electrician to commercial real estate development. Participate in hands-on activities simulating work in the field, including electrical installation and lighting design. Get coaching from professionals and hear how they got started, and get the inside scoop on how to get into the industry via an apprenticeship, college or work experience. Light breakfast and lunch is included. IN PERSON at Christenson Electric, hosted by CREW.

How to attend:

Step 1: Fill out the student interest form ASAP. (Type your email address and cell number carefully so we can reach you!)

Step 2: Have your parent/guardian fill out the parent/guardian permission form ASAP. (Your application can’t be considered until this is done.) Students who do this early have much better luck at being accepted.

Step 3: PWA will contact you to let you know if you’re accepted or waitlisted, or if the career day is full.

Step 4: Show up and have an amazing time!

Who can attend:

High school students in the Portland metro area are encouraged and welcome to apply. We prioritize students from our partner school districts when space is limited (Gresham-Barlow, North Clackamas, Parkrose Portland Public Schools, Reynolds, Oregon Charter Academy).
