PWA welcomed Morgan to the Board of directors in June 2024.

Morgan (she/her) is a Brand Executive at Wieden+Kennedy in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Hampton University with a degree in Strategic Communications, and has participated in internships with Under Armour and Wieden+Kennedy’s AdMagic program. 

What is some of your best career advice? 

Being an entry level professional, the best advice I've received was -- I'm in the best position I ever will be in my career. I can raise my hand for any and everything, I can continuously fail and grow from my mistakes, and I should take advantage of this for as long as I can. You're only entry level once. 

What was your most memorable job as a teenager? 

I worked at Target in their fulfillment department in college.

What is something you learned in high school about work?

In high school they taught me to be open to opportunities that seem even the slightest bit of interest to me.

What draws you to serve PWA?

I'm passionate about creating access, exposure, mentorship and space for high school students. I also really love what PWA does for their students (Careers Expo, Creative Careers Day, etc) and love to support in any way that I can!
