Electrical/Business Career Day with CREW/IBEW

Explore the various careers in the business of construction, architecture, commercial real estate development, electrical, and other related fields. Participate in hands-on activities simulating work in the field, such as electrical installation and lighting design.
Get coaching from professionals in the field and hear how they got started, and get the inside scoop on how to get into the industry via an apprenticeship, college or work experience. Light breakfast and lunch provided.
How to attend:
Step 1: Fill out the winter/spring student interest form ASAP. (Type your email address and cell number carefully so we can reach you!)
Step 2: Have your parent/guardian fill out the winter/spring parent/guardian permission form ASAP. (Your application can’t be considered until this is done.) Students who do this early have much better luck at being accepted.
Step 3: PWA will contact you to let you know if you're accepted or waitlisted, or if the career day is full.
Step 4: Show up and have an amazing time!
Who can attend:
High school students in the Portland metro area are welcome to apply. We prioritize students from our partner school districts whenever space is limited (Gresham-Barlow, North Clackamas, Parkrose Portland Public Schools, Reynolds, Oregon Charter Academy).
