ZGF Architects Career Day

Do you dream of a career designing buildings? Spend the day at ZGF Architects! Connect with architects and other industry professionals. Get a behind-the-scenes look at one of Portland’s leading firms. Design a building in a team with students from other schools. Learn about the education and skills needed for an architecture career. Go on a walking tour to explore building styles in downtown Portland.
How to attend:
Step 1: Fill out the student interest form ASAP. (Type your email address and cell number carefully so we can reach you!)
Step 2: Have your parent/guardian fill out the parent/guardian permission form ASAP.
Step 3: PWA will contact you to let you know if you're accepted or waitlisted, or if the career day is full.
Step 4: Show up and have an amazing time!
Who can attend:
High school students in the Portland metro area are encouraged and welcome to apply. Priority given to students from PWA partner districts (Parkrose, Reynolds, Gresham-Barlow, North Clackamas, Oregon Charter Academy). Students from other districts are always welcome whenever space is available.

Details: Check in by 9 AM. Program starts promptly at 9:15 AM.
Food: Lunch included.
Transportation: Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from the experience.
Special instructions:
This Career Day includes an architecture tour led by ZGF architects. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather (hooded rain jacket or umbrella as needed).
