PWA Virtual Eco Career Day

May 21 | 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Do you love the outdoors? Are you passionate about the environment and caring for it? Learn more about careers in conservation and resource management with the nonprofit Portland Workforce Alliance, in partnership with City of Gresham, Northwest Youth Corps, Friends of Trees, and Johnson Creek Watershed Council.

Hear from a variety of professionals from organizations like environmental specialists, natural resource planners, community engagement managers and more.

Hear about why they love their job, what paths and education it took for them to get started, and why this field is great for folks from all backgrounds!

See what it's like to work on a field crew with Northwest Youth Corp (left) or go behind the scenes with an environmental specialist at the City of Gresham to see what field work is like to monitor and protect our local environment (right).

Find out more about Forestry and Natural Resources, conservation careers, and diversity in the industry
