Spend the day with Multnomah County IT!
Career Day Information
Learn about careers in information technology with the nonprofit Portland Workforce Alliance!
- Go behind- the-scenes in a local government setting, where core tech responsibilities include fending off hackers, managing sensitive information, and developing apps.
- Learn what Multnomah County does and talk with their IT professionals about a career path that blends tech savvy with public service. (Check out this video to learn more.)
- Light breakfast and pizza lunch generously provided by Multnomah County.
Check-in & Eligibility
Check-in at 8:45 am. Program starts promptly at 9:00 am and ends at 12:00 pm. Open to students from PWA’s partner high schools, with limited seats available for other Multnomah County districts.
Dress to impress! Business casual attire is best. No shorts, sweatpants, crop tops, hats, t-shirts with objectionable logos/graphics or gum. Nice jeans are ok.
