Design Week Portland brought the designers. Portland Workforce Alliance brought the students.

In the midst of all of the Design Week Portland activities aimed at adults, DWP hosted 74 high school students at 14 different design studios April 17-20.

It was an incredible experience for the students, many of whom had never visited a creative agency. Students were able to explore downtown workplaces large and small, from Wieden+Kennedy and Ziba to Owen Jones and Red & Co. Many of the host agencies not only explained their work but offered hands-on activities for the students, all of whom hope to continue their education in design after high school.
