ACE Mentor Program of Oregon awards $84,000 in college scholarships to Portland-area seniors

What a remarkable year it has been for ACE Mentor Program of Oregon!

We wrapped up the 2019 sessions last night with final team presentations and scholarship awards. ACE awarded $84,000 in college scholarships to 17 high school seniors, surpassing a milestone: Our local chapter has given more than $623,000 in scholarships since its inception.

We’re grateful for our sponsoring businesses and individual donors who make these opportunities possible, as well as for the army of volunteer mentors who worked with more than 150 participating students this year. Because of this team effort, our program is giving students the confidence, skills and resources to pursue their career goals in architecture, construction management and engineering
