The ACE Mentor Program of Oregon is accepting applications for the 2017-18 school year!

ACE is a FREE after-school mentorship program that gives Portland-metro area high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to work with professionals in the Architecture, Construction, and Engineering (ACE) career fields.

Students can:

  • Visit multiple offices in downtown Portland, explore careers within the design and construction industry, and learn valuable job skills.
  • Collaborate with a team of mentors and students from other schools on a building design project.
  • “Pitch” their projects to a large audience at the program finale.

Seniors who complete the program can also apply for ACE Scholarships. Last year, $75,000 was awarded to 16 seniors who will pursue ACE-related majors in college.

This year’s application deadline is November 21, 2017 at 5:00 PM. The program runs from January to May 2018.

Click here for the ACE student flyer and here for the paper application. Students need to complete BOTH the paper application and online application before the application deadline. (Details about the new online application are on the last page of the attached paper application.)
